Is the baby shower for the mom or for the baby? Or is it a little of both? 😉
No matter which way you look at it, Janelle was just glowing at her baby shower. She’s expecting a little girl soon and they’ve decided to name her Aria.
Aria is already so, so loved. People from all parts of Janelle’s life were there to celebrate little Aria’s arrival. Everyone had a fun time and the food was delicious! There were so many handmade gifts (some of them you can see above) and the CUTEST clothes (seriously, can I PLEASE have that coat in my size?!).
The background you see with the flowers was made by Janelle’s mother and sister! Everything was planned to perfection and Janelle’s friend Boram was a truly lovely hostess.
We’re excited to welcome you to the world soon, little Aria!
One thing that I most enjoy about photographing siblings is how different they can be. 🙂 During this family’s session, Tabor (the oldest) was shy and a little timid, while his brother Archie (the soon-to-be middle child) was all personality.
As we walked through Clackamette Park, Tabor started to open up a little bit and I got to even see his goofy side. 🙂
Danica is one of the strongest moms I’ve ever met — she’s pregnant with their third and due in just about a month or so and was able to pick up Archie and carry him for part of the way! Amazing! Corey was careful and understanding with each of his boys — helping them with their jackets (which matched! so cute!) and making silly faces to get them to giggle.
The new baby will be lucky to join this family. 🙂
I don’t always do maternity shoots, but when I do… I get the greatest families. 🙂
Colleen came to me about a month ago and said that she’d had some maternity photos done, but was looking for something a little different than what she had experienced. What she really wanted was some photos of her little family of three before it became a not-as-little family of four.
The weeks are ticking by, and this family is due (see what I did there?) to see their newest member very soon! In the meantime, I’m sure they’ll be enjoying many more snuggles and bedtime stories. 🙂
